Premium workspace provider Satellite Office has officially opened its third location in Munich. Operating under the name MAXI14, the building at Maximilianstrasse 14 commenced operational activities on 1 October, followed by a formal opening ceremony on 29 October before around 230 guests from business, design, and media. For entrepreneur Anita Gödiker, the property marks a long-pursued milestone, having waited around ten years for a suitable property on Munich's traditional luxury boulevard.
The choice of location reflects the company's ongoing strategy of securing prime addresses in prime locations. As Gödiker emphasised, Maximilianstrasse stands for international prestige and high structural quality. When acquiring new properties, the company makes no compromises, as the prestige of the real estate must directly reinforce the professional image of its users.
Space layout and fit-out of the MAXI14 location
The new business centre spans three floors with a total of around 2,000 square metres of lettable space. Options for use range from long-term leases for individual and team offices to day bookings and the establishment of a prestigious business address supported by a multilingual service team. The functional room layout comprises the following components:
- —A total of 40 fully equipped office units
- —Three meeting and conference rooms
- —An in-house podcast studio with professional audio and video equipment
- —Several lounge areas, including a fireplace lounge and soundproofed retreat zones
The interior fit-out features the proprietary, acoustically optimised pureSilent concept, which uses coordinated lighting, colour, and acoustic elements. For furnishings and lighting, the property relies on international manufacturers such as Cassina, Occhio, Artemide, and Brunner. The fact that more than half of the total space had already been let prior to the opening evening is viewed by the company as confirmation of sustained demand for high-end work environments in the luxury segment.
Further expansion step in the Bavarian state capital
At the grand opening, Anita Gödiker and Philipp Rupprecht, Director of Satellite Office Munich, led through the programme, which was hosted by presenter Philipp Bächstädt. Christoph Angerbauer delivered welcoming remarks on behalf of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry for Munich and Upper Bavaria, while cellist Alexander Dimitrov and violinist Laura Zarina provided musical accompaniment for the evening.
With MAXI14, the provider consolidates its presence in the Munich market. Following the opening of the Ludwigpalais at Odeonsplatz in 2011 and the Alte Hopfenpost at Rundfunkplatz in 2016, this represents its third local site. Another project has already been confirmed: in early 2027, Satellite Office plans to open a fourth Munich address at the Villa Goethe property.
