Luxury jewellery brand Julie Vos has signed a lease for 14,000 square feet of office space at 218-232 West 40th Street from Savitt Partners in Midtown Manhattan, as announced by tenant representative Lee & Associates NYC on Thursday.
Julie Vos will occupy the entire fourth floor of the twelve-storey office building. The exact term of the lease was not disclosed; however, the asking rent was US$46 per square foot, according to Lee & Associates.
The relocation of employees from the previous site at 10 East 38th Street to the new address on West 40th Street, located between Seventh and Eighth Avenue, is scheduled for this month.
Strategic Choice of Location
Woody King of Lee & Associates represented the tenant, a manufacturer of high-end fashion jewellery, in this transaction. Mr King highlighted that the combination of a private full-floor presence, high-quality amenities, and excellent accessibility made the property an ideal choice for Julie Vos. He emphasised that the new office provides the company with an upscale headquarters that reflects the brand and supports its continued growth.
The owner, represented by LLC 218 West 40th Associates, was represented internally by Brian Neugeboren, Nicole Goetz, and Matthew Savitt of Savitt Partners. Matthew Savitt commented that office tenants are increasingly seeking spaces that can fulfil versatile functions while also representing their brand identity. Julie Vos found this opportunity at 218 West 40th Street, and Savitt Partners are pleased to welcome them to the building.
Tenant Structure in the Building
Other tenants at 218 West 40th Street include brassiere manufacturer Ariela & Associates International and production company Avery Dennison, underscoring the diversified use of the property.
