American gymnastic star Simone Biles and her husband, NFL player Jonathan Owens, have sold their property in Spring, Texas. The home came onto the market in September with an asking price of 1.275 million dollars and found a buyer in less than four weeks. The final sale price has not yet been publicly disclosed. The couple had used the property over recent years as an interim solution while construction of their custom-built primary residence progressed.
Modern architecture in a private gated community
The property is situated in a guarded section of the Benders Landing development on a private one-acre plot with no rear neighbours. Offering 3,998 square feet of living space, the contemporary home features an open-plan layout with generous living and entertaining areas. Expansive window fronts fill the main living space with natural daylight and open up views over the landscaped garden and swimming pool.
The dining area flows directly into the kitchen, which is centred around a large quartz island with a waterfall design. Interior fittings include bespoke cabinetry, modern appliances, a glass-fronted wine wall and a concealed pantry. The residence offers four bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms, including two separate principal suites. The main bedroom features two walk-in wardrobes and a spa-style bathroom.

Completion of new build and sporting plans
The expansive outdoor area was conceived from the outset as the heart of the property. Its central feature is a spacious swimming pool equipped with a combined heating and cooling system. Substantial terraces provide space for entertaining and relaxation, while well-tended lawns frame the entire grounds.
For Biles and Owens, the sale brings an interim chapter to a close. The couple began construction on a new home in Texas in 2022. Following almost three years of building work, the project reached completion in 2025, enabling the pair to move in this past February after the end of the football season.
The sale coincided with another transition: as a result of Owens signing a one-year deal with the Indianapolis Colts, the couple leased a residence in Indiana for the duration of the NFL season. However, the newly finished house in Texas remains the two athletes' primary permanent home.
