FaceGym, a skincare brand that refers to itself as a “face fitness” studio, has concluded a ten-year lease for a 2,400 square foot space at 110 Reade Street in Tribeca. This was confirmed by the landlord's broker, Platinum Commercial. The opening of the new branch is expected this month.
The company, founded in London in 2014, offers “face workouts” that combine muscle manipulation techniques to provide lifting and sculpting services without surgical intervention, as stated on the company's website. The brand operates 15 locations worldwide, including four others in New York City, which are situated on the Upper East Side, in NoHo, and in Midtown.
Strategic Location Choice in Tribeca
Steven Evans of Platinum Commercial, who represented the landlord, highlighted the strategic importance of the location choice. He remarked that leading retail brands today are making long-term investments in districts that complement their identity and where they can build lasting relationships with their customers. Tribeca has developed into one of Manhattan's prime destinations for luxury wellness, beauty, and experiential retail, by attracting brands that value authenticity, quality, and community. FaceGym is an ideal fit for this environment.
The asking rent for the space was $110 per square foot. Isaacs and Company represented the tenant, with the names of the brokers involved not immediately available.
The Building at 110 Reade Street
Built in 1861, the building at 110 Reade Street, near the corner of Reade Street and West Broadway, is a six-storey mixed-use property with residential units and ground-floor retail space. Previously, the Pure Barre fitness studio was the tenant of the retail space. This new establishment underscores the attractiveness of the location for high-quality service providers in the beauty and wellness sector.
