Suffolk Construction, a leading construction company, is relocating its office within downtown West Palm Beach. The company has signed a lease for 19,000 square feet (approx. 1,765 sqm) in the Echo boutique building. The new office will be located on the top floor of the four-storey building at 205 Datura Street, just off South Narcissus Avenue.

This move strategically positions Suffolk Construction approximately three blocks east of its previous location at 426 Clematis Street. The decision to change location and occupy a larger space underscores the company's growth strategy and its aspiration to create a modern working environment.

Tom Thrasher, Managing Director for South Florida at Suffolk, stated that the new space reflects the high standards the company aims to provide to its employees, clients, and partners. At the same time, he emphasised Suffolk's long-term commitment to the West Palm Beach community. This investment in high-quality office space demonstrates a dedication to a first-class working environment and local presence.

The Echo building is owned by the Toronto-based family office Coco Group, which acquired the property last year for 45.7 million US dollars. The property offers approximately 71,000 square feet of office space and 10,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space. Amenities also include an underground car park with 257 spaces, further enhancing the location's appeal for tenants.

The building, originally constructed in 1925, was repositioned as a mixed-use property by Morning Calm Management in 2021 before being sold to the Coco Group. This development illustrates the transformation of older properties into modern, multifunctional assets that meet today's real estate market demands. The demand for prime office space in established locations remains consistently high and continues to attract renowned companies.
