The HelloFresh Group has adjusted and extended its existing corporate financing. As part of a transaction, the internationally active company headquartered in Berlin concluded a new syndicated loan agreement comprising a total volume of EUR 375 million. The updated financing structure serves to provide ongoing support for corporate financing as well as the strategic further development of the group.
International banking consortium and legal counsel
The funds are being provided by an international banking consortium. The consortium is jointly led by the banking institutions BNP Paribas and Rabobank. In addition to the parent company, the agreement also encompasses numerous foreign subsidiaries of the HelloFresh Group.
For the structuring and conclusion of the syndicated loan agreement, the banking side mandated the law firm Gleiss Lutz. The advisory team assisted the consortium with the legal implementation of the adjustment and extension of the previous credit facility of EUR 375 million.
Financing framework for international positioning
HelloFresh operates as a global leader in meal kits and other food solutions. The corporate group is active in many international markets and, in addition to its traditional meal kit segment, distributes a range of ready meals and other food products.
With the successful extension and adjustment of the existing credit lines, the corporate group is consolidating its financial foundation. The transaction provides the Berlin-based group and its global subsidiaries with the necessary scope to implement its further projects in the international food and delivery segment.
