Takko Holding GmbH, which operates in 17 European countries, has concluded a lease agreement via Aengevelt for retail premises at Friedrichstraße 19 in Düsseldorf. The space covers approximately 330 m² and is intended to house the fashion discounter's first inner-city store in Düsseldorf. The property owner is alstria.
The opening of the new location is scheduled for 30 July 2026. Takko Fashion's regional manager, Eva Mertens, expressed a positive view on the expansion. She emphasised that the location in Düsseldorf city centre represents a complement to existing branches in retail park settings and plans to offer a fashionable assortment in a pleasant shopping atmosphere.

The lease by Takko Fashion is regarded as a signal for the development of Friedrichstraße.
