The Techem Group, a leading provider of smart and sustainable building solutions, has finalised the sale of Techem Solutions GmbH to the Elevion Group. This step, with closing effective from 30 September 2026, marks a strategic realignment for Techem. The transaction was completed after all customary closing conditions were met and all necessary regulatory approvals were granted.
The former Techem Solutions GmbH will operate as Elevion Energy in the future and will be integrated into the Elevion Group's European platform for heating contracting and integrated energy solutions. As part of this transition, approximately 100 employees will transfer to Elevion Energy, which will continue to be managed by Holger Suschowk and his leadership team. The acquisition offers Techem Solutions an optimal environment to further expand its growth potential in the heating contracting segment and significantly strengthen its market position.
Strategic Realignment and Focus
By successfully completing this transaction, Techem is sharpening its strategic profile. The company will increasingly focus its investments on digital energy data and efficiency solutions. Techem thus intends to sustainably solidify its position as a technology and data partner for the real estate industry in the field of energy efficiency and decarbonisation.
Ulrich Schiller, Co-CEO of the Techem Group and CEO Germany, emphasised that the sale represents a significant milestone for both companies involved. He highlighted that Techem Solutions will gain ideal conditions within the Elevion Group for the further development and strengthening of its market position in heating contracting. At the same time, this enables Techem to concentrate on the further development of digital solutions that support customers in the transformation of their buildings.
Michael Nilles, Co-CEO of the Techem Group and CEO Digital & New Business, added that the transaction creates additional focus and increased flexibility for the company's development. Techem will specifically invest in innovations and technologies that drive the digitalisation and decarbonisation of buildings. This is intended to strengthen innovative power and create a solid foundation for sustainable growth. Beyond the completed transaction, Techem and the Elevion Group are evaluating further potential for future collaboration models.
