Travis Kelce, the Kansas City Chiefs star, has added a 21,140 square foot lakeside villa in Bratenahl, Ohio, to his property portfolio. The historic estate was acquired for $5.35 million, having originally been offered for $6.99 million in 2024. Kelce purchased the villa from Figurati Construction Group, owned by Gary Pellegrino, after the company had completed extensive renovations.
The estate is located just a few miles from Cleveland Heights, where Kelce and his brother Jason grew up. The purchase was finalised just months before his wedding to Taylor Swift and complements the couple's shared property collection, which already includes homes in Kansas, Beverly Hills, and Rhode Island.
Entering Kelce's New Estate
Upon entering the property, one passes the estate's original gatehouse, which has been converted into a two-bedroom guest house. This provides accommodation for the couple's friends and family. Built in 1895, the villa is set on a 3.5-acre plot along the Lake Erie coastline and, despite extensive modernisation, retains much of its original architecture.
Inside, the grand entrance hall presents carved walnut and oak detailing before transitioning into the main living areas with stained-glass windows. On one side is the formal dining room, which features a fireplace and accordion doors leading to a conservatory. This conservatory is fitted with polished marble floors and an amber stained-glass skylight.
The interiors extend further onto a stone patio and newly laid bluestone paving with views of the heated swimming pool and the lake. On the third floor, the former ballroom has been converted into a games room and a home cinema. In the basement, the lower level has been comprehensively redesigned for entertainment purposes. It houses a billiards room, a poker area, a bar, a temperature-controlled wine cellar with a tasting room, a fitness centre, and a sauna.

Kelce's new Lake Erie villa brings him back home, just a few miles from Cleveland Heights, where he and his brother grew up. This lends particular significance to the $5.35 million acquisition, as he embarks on a new chapter in life and the property offers a place where he and Swift could potentially start a family of their own. After years of a career that took him far beyond Northeast Ohio, Kelce now owns a home that connects him to the place that shaped him, while also providing space for future developments.
