Online investment and brokerage platform Webull has signed a long-term lease for 41,781 square feet of office space in Manhattan's Financial District. The new premises are located in the 140 Broadway office tower. The financial firm will occupy the entire 41st floor as well as portions of the 40th floor.
Floor space expansion of 81 per cent
According to advising property agency Colliers, the lease term is ten years. The agreed rental rate has not been disclosed. For context, the average office asking rent in Lower Manhattan stood at 64.88 US dollars per square foot in the third quarter of 2026, according to market data from Colliers.
With this agreement, Webull is relocating its headquarters from its previous address at 44 Wall Street to the new site. The precise timing of the move has not yet been confirmed. For the financial services provider, the transaction represents a substantial expansion, with leased space increasing by 81 per cent compared to its previous premises.
Robert Gallucci of Colliers, who represented the tenant in the transaction, explained that deciding on office space at this stage of the company's lifecycle required forward-looking planning for future business development. He added that the long-standing relationship with Webull helped in understanding priorities precisely and securing a property that reliably supports continued growth.
A classic of New York post-war modernism
Completed in 1968, the high-rise at 140 Broadway is particularly renowned for the sculpture The Red Cube by artist Isamu Noguchi, situated on the plaza facing Broadway. Alongside Webull, tenants of the building, which features modernised service and lounge areas, include communications agency Zeno Group and non-profit cultural organisation the Wallace Foundation.
The property owner, 140 BW LLC, was represented in the lease negotiations by Dan Appel and Hal Stein of Newmark.
