Facility services provider Wisag is moving into a new office location in the north-west of Nuremberg. The company has taken up around 950 square metres of lettable space in the property at Rathsbergstrasse 25. This total space is divided functionally: just over 800 square metres are allocated to office use, while a further 150 square metres are designated for logistics purposes.
Occupation of the new premises is scheduled for November this year. The tenant was advised in its search for a suitable location by property firm JLL. JLL subsequently also brokered the conclusion of the lease agreement between Wisag and the landlord.
Restructuring of the Rathsbergstrasse property
The property on Rathsbergstrasse looks back on a long operational history. For an extended period, automotive supplier Aptiv served as the main tenant of the building complex. Last year, the industrial company finally moved out, clearing the path for a repositioning of the site.
The property is owned by a private investor and comprises a total lettable area of well over 15,000 square metres. Following the departure of the previous occupier, the space is no longer being allocated to a single large corporation. Instead, the marketing strategy focuses on letting smaller units to various user groups.
The successful letting to service provider Wisag marks a step in this multi-let reoccupation of the property. The functional combination of office and logistics space illustrates the asset's adaptability to the requirements of modern service businesses in north-west Nuremberg.
