The international real estate investor, developer and manager Arrow Capital Partners is expanding its team in the German market. The company has appointed Tim Balthasar as Senior Asset Manager. Based in Dusseldorf, he assumes responsibility for the management and strategic development of properties within the local logistics portfolio.

Balthasar reports directly to Martien van Deursen, who leads activities in the region as Head of Germany & Benelux. His remit includes the operational management of the holdings and close cooperation with tenants, partners and local stakeholders to secure the earning power of the properties and deliver sustainable value growth across the portfolio.

Extensive industry experience in the logistics sector

The new Senior Asset Manager brings more than twenty years of professional experience in commercial and logistics real estate as well as portfolio optimisation. Prior to joining Arrow Capital Partners, Balthasar served as Associate Director Property Management for Germany and Austria at EQT Real Estate. There, he held commercial and operational responsibility for a logistics portfolio spanning approximately 600,000 square metres. His previous career stops include established market players such as Frasers Property Europe, SEGRO Germany GmbH and Goodman Germany GmbH.

In this context, Martien van Deursen highlighted the strategic added value of the new arrival. He noted that Balthasar's long-standing experience, ranging from property management to performance steering, forms a vital element in expanding the company's market presence. Arrow Capital Partners continues to actively seek well-connected standing assets as well as promising development plots across the region.

Expansion of the German logistics portfolio

The recruitment comes against the backdrop of dynamic growth for the firm in Germany. Since 2021, the team has completed lease agreements covering a total area of more than 315,000 square metres across the country. Current activities are reflected in several large-scale schemes:

  • —The Arrow Point Bremen project, comprising 54,000 square metres of lettable space, fully pre-let to BlackForxx, a subsidiary of the Kion Group.
  • —An 89,000-square-metre development project in Duisburg, with the first phase planned for completion in April 2027.
  • —Arrow Park Ludwigsfelde, offering 14,000 square metres of sustainably designed urban logistics space.

With this pipeline and the restructured leadership team in asset management, Arrow Capital Partners continues to position itself as a high-capacity player in the German industrial and logistics segment.
