ASSMANN Büromöbel GmbH & Co. KG has reorganised its leadership in two strategically important departments. With the appointments of Jan Pahnke as Head of Product Management & Construction and Jan-Hendrik Wittenberg as Head of Marketing, the Melle-based family company is strengthening its operational leadership. These personnel decisions aim to further consolidate the company's future direction and market positioning.
Expertise in Product Development and Brand Strategy
Jan Pahnke, 35, brings extensive experience from his previous roles at Sedus Stoll AG and Sedus Systems GmbH. There, he worked as a Product Manager for seven years and, in the last three years, as a Design Thinking Coach, he focused on the conception and support of innovation projects. His focus was on promoting user-centric development approaches. His qualifications as an industrial clerk, marketing specialist (IHK), and certified business economist, complemented by certification as a workplace expert from the Akademie Mensch&Büro, enable him to contribute practical expertise to the planning, design, and furnishing of modern office spaces. At ASSMANN, Pahnke will lead Product Management and Construction with the task of strategically developing the product portfolio.
Jan-Hendrik Wittenberg, 44, as Head of Marketing, is responsible for the strategic development of the ASSMANN brand. He will shape the company's positioning for a digital and AI-driven future and will lead all marketing activities in the B2B and B2C sectors, as well as corporate communications. Previously, Wittenberg spent almost twelve years as Head of Marketing at Oknoplast Deutschland GmbH, a subsidiary of the Polish Oknoplast Group in the building components sector. There, he was responsible for strategic brand management, marketing activities, and corporate communications for Germany within a family-owned group with a multi-brand portfolio. Prior to this position, the sports economist was employed as Sponsoring Manager at Bitburger Braugruppe, where he led initiatives in the football sector, among others, and worked closely with product management, trade marketing, and PR.
Managing Director Karla Aßmann commented on the new additions, highlighting that with Jan Pahnke and Jan-Hendrik Wittenberg, two experienced leaders have been recruited who will integrate well into the company. She emphasised that their knowledge and understanding of the needs of the ASSMANN brand and the medium-sized family company will contribute to achieving strategic goals.
