Real estate advisory firm Cushman & Wakefield has announced a letting success on the left bank of the Rhine in Cologne. A supra-regionally active institutional occupier has signed a long-term lease for around 600 square metres of office and storage space in Neustadt-Nord. The service provider's consultants brokered the deal for a historic property.
Historic building fabric from the 19th century
The property is a striking Art Nouveau villa dating from the end of the 19th century. Owned by a private landlord, the building underwent comprehensive revitalisation around 15 years ago. These works preserved the characteristic stylistic elements of the period while meeting the requirements of modern working environments.
Alongside its architectural features, the property benefits from its location within Cologne. It is situated in the immediate vicinity of the banks of the Rhine and close to Ebertplatz. As one of the most important transport hubs on the left bank of the Rhine, the square provides direct infrastructural links to the transit network.
Move-in scheduled for early 2027
The prospective occupier secured the premises well in advance, with actual occupation scheduled for early 2027. Under the long-term contract, the supra-regional institution commits itself for several years to this prestigious address in Cologne Neustadt-Nord.

- —Property type: Revitalised Art Nouveau villa from the late 19th century
