US entrepreneur and former Los Angeles Dodgers owner Frank McCourt has put his recently completed waterfront estate in Boca Raton up for sale for 125 million dollars. McCourt and his wife Monica acquired the unfinished shell in Florida in 2024 for an undisclosed sum and completed construction work in 2025 based on designs by renowned Cape Town architecture firm SAOTA.
The estate occupies a waterfront plot of around 2.19 acres and provides approximately 18,000 square feet of living space. Accommodation comprises nine bedrooms, twelve full bathrooms and six guest cloakrooms. After passing through the guarded entrance and the landscaped courtyard, visitors cross reflecting pools to reach a monumental glass facade marking the entrance to the main residence.
Architecture and interior design concept
The central living area is characterised by timber-slatted ceilings and a full-height stone media wall. Expansive sliding glass doors connect the room to the outdoor areas. An adjoining lounge features a fully fitted wet bar with natural stone worktops and mirrored cabinetry. The property also includes two private studies, notably a glazed office with an integrated library at the end of a gallery-style hallway.
Leisure amenities include a private cinema with ten reclining seats and acoustic wall panelling, alongside a gym and a dedicated spa area. The spa comprises a treatment room overlooking an internal courtyard and a steam shower lined with monochrome natural stone. A generous garage with linear lighting provides space for five cars.

Maritime infrastructure and sale background
The grounds feature around 220 feet of frontage along the Intracoastal Waterway. The private dock is situated in a no-wake zone and is fitted with high-voltage power supplies and pump-out facilities for superyachts. Although completion of the estate took a full year, the couple are parting with the property because their life is primarily centred around their equestrian estates in nearby Wellington. Marketing is being handled by estate agent Maria Mendelsohn of Douglas Elliman.
