BayernCare, a company belonging to Sontowski & Partner Group, has commenced construction of a new senior living complex in Traunreut. The project involves the realisation of 76 barrier-free residential units. ZECH Bau is acting as the general contractor for the construction work. Current activities are focused on excavating the building pit, which precedes the foundation and shell construction work.
The five-storey residential complex is being built in a central location within the newly developed Munapark quarter. The 76 senior apartments are designed as one to three-room units, with living areas ranging from 38.8 to 77.5 square metres. The offering is complemented by an integrated car park with 28 spaces, as well as 10 visitor parking spaces outdoors.
For nursing and service provisions, the local senior service provider Reiff has been secured as a cooperation partner. They will have their own office directly within the residential complex to ensure comprehensive care for residents.
High sustainability standards
The construction project places a strong emphasis on sustainability and energy efficiency. The senior living complex will be built to the KfW Efficiency House 40 NH (QNG Plus) standard. Furthermore, a DGNB Gold certification is being sought, which underscores the project's high ecological and economic quality standards.

Munapark is located in the inner-city area of Traunreut, in the immediate vicinity of the k1 culture and event centre. Connectivity to public transport is ensured by the Traunreut train station being within walking distance.
