BENO Holding AG has submitted its half-year report for 30 June 2026. This report documents a stable development of its portfolio in the first half of the year. Concurrently, the company has further developed its operational platform, strengthened its presence in the capital market, and established the organisational foundations for future growth.
As of the reporting date, BENO Holding's portfolio remained unchanged, comprising twelve locations with a total floor area of approximately 161,000 square metres. Annualised net cold rent amounted to around EUR 7.33 million, with an occupancy rate of approximately 96 per cent. The property value was stated as approximately EUR 89.9 million.
Strengthening Operational Infrastructure and Capital Market Presence
During the reporting period, the operational platform was significantly further developed. Asset and property management, technical processes, and central data management are now closely integrated. The use of digital twins and intelligent tools supports nearly all essential work processes. These measures are part of the alignment towards a scaling phase, to enable the efficient integration of additional properties into existing structures.
BENO Holding's capital market presence was also expanded. Since April 2026, BENO shares have additionally been traded via Xetra. In addition, investor relations activities with institutional investors were intensified, including presence at capital market conferences and a non-deal roadshow in Paris.
Strategic Orientation in the Current Market Environment
In the current market environment, BENO Holding identifies particular opportunities in the light industrial and warehouse inventory sector. Current conditions, characterised by high construction and financing costs, complicate numerous traditional real estate strategies. Existing, flexibly usable commercial properties can, in this context, combine attractive ongoing rental yields with potential for value appreciation. Concurrently, institutional interest in this asset class is increasing.
BENO Holding's goal is to significantly expand its portfolio in the coming years and actively contribute to the consolidation of the fragmented German market. The focus is on light industrial and warehouse existing properties suitable for multiple uses in attractive locations. These are to be acquired at favourable entry prices and subsequently developed operationally.
Subsequent to the half-year reporting date, another commercial property in Roth was acquired. Two refinancings also led to additional liquidity of approximately EUR 8 million. BENO is examining further acquisitions for the remainder of the year. Key priorities also include letting, the technical further development of the properties, and the expansion of photovoltaic systems.
Michael Bussmann, the CEO of BENO Holding AG, commented on the development. He emphasised that the first half of the year demonstrated both the stability of the portfolio and the platform's performance. He highlighted that the digital platform had been further developed, the organisation prepared for growth, and capital market presence strengthened. Bussmann stated that the current market environment offers attractive opportunities for the business model. He reaffirmed the goal of expanding the portfolio and shaping the German light industrial and warehouse market.
