The company's relocation is scheduled to commence gradually in the first quarter of 2027. This lease allows the BFT Group to expand its premises, enabling the creation of up to 56 workstations in an open-plan concept at the new location.
The lessor of this space is a property company represented by BEOS AG. BEOS AG is an integral part of Swiss Life Asset Managers. The Loftworks comprise a total area of approximately 5,500 square metres. The building, constructed in 1955, originally served the Deutsche Bundespost as a central hub for the regional distribution of telecommunications equipment. This underscores the historical significance and robust construction of the property.
Comprehensive Repositioning of the Loftworks
Since 2025, the existing building has been undergoing a comprehensive redesign. As part of this repositioning, it is being transformed into a multifunctional multi-tenant building. The Loftworks represents the only existing building within the newly emerging Light-Industrial-Quartier Werft68.
