AEW, an internationally active real estate investment and asset manager, has announced the appointment of Bianca Kraus as Head of Investor Relations Europe. This personnel decision will take effect on 1 July 2026. Ms Kraus will perform her new role from Munich and will report directly to Vanessa Roux-Collet, CEO Europe at AEW, in this position.
Bianca Kraus has been with AEW since 2019. Initially, she headed Investor Relations for Germany. Since 2023, she has been responsible for this function across the entire DACH region. In these roles, she was instrumental in building and maintaining relationships with institutional investors and consultants in Germany, Austria and German-speaking Switzerland. Under her aegis, capital was raised for AEW's global platform, individual mandates for institutional investors were acquired, and funds for selected company funds were procured.
Expansion of responsibilities
In her new leadership role, Bianca Kraus will lead the European Investor Relations team. Her remit now includes not only fundraising but also client relations at the European level. Together with Vanessa Roux-Collet, CEO Europe, she will drive AEW's European growth strategy and ensure continuous support for existing clients. Before joining AEW, Ms Kraus worked as Head of Customer and Fund Relations at BNP Paribas REIM Germany. She brings nearly 30 years of experience in real estate investment management, including 15 years in senior Investor Relations roles.
Vanessa Roux-Collet, CEO Europe at AEW, emphasised the strategic importance of Investor Relations for the company. She acknowledged Bianca Kraus's contribution to building and developing strong and sustainable relationships with institutional investors over the past seven years. The appointment is the logical next step to jointly drive growth in Europe and ensure first-class client service.
