Cody Ko, a well-known YouTuber and podcaster, and his wife, influencer Kelsey Kreppel, have put their Malibu estate on the market for USD 7.5 million. The couple acquired the property, known as Cranberry Ranch, in 2023. Previously, the estate served as a wedding venue after its former owner, Reese Witherspoon, sold it in 2020.
The expansive plot, nearly 2 acres in size, is situated above Zuma Beach and is surrounded by lush greenery. It offers five bedrooms and four bathrooms. The secluded location contributes to its exclusive atmosphere. Billy Rose and Sandro Dazzan are handling the sale.
Cranberry Ranch Estate
Access to the house is via a long private driveway that winds through trees, largely shielding the building from view. At the end of the drive, a sign reading “Cranberry Ranch” greets visitors before the driveway leads to the garages. A path then guides to the main entrance, where a vine-covered pergola forms a shaded patio in front of the house.
Immediately behind the front door, the property opens into a corner living room, surrounded by windows on both sides, offering views of the front garden and side areas. Inside, a curved, purple sofa is placed beneath the windows; in front of it, two darker purple armchairs sit before the fireplace. The gourmet kitchen extends as a long room and features rainbow onyx countertops on both sides. White fitted cabinets provide brightness, while the stone’s veining adds warmth to the space, particularly around the dark brown farmhouse sink and the high-end appliances. At the end of the kitchen, an informal breakfast area is located next to a large window wall.
On the other side of the house lies the sun-drenched main suite beneath a vaulted ceiling. The bed is centrally positioned in the room, opposite a series of glass doors leading to the garden. The accompanying bathroom is equipped with a bespoke double vanity in green concrete, oversized round mirrors, and warmly accented brass lighting. At the back wall, a freestanding bathtub sits beneath a stained-glass window, while a separate marble shower is opposite. One of the other bedrooms has been converted into a children’s room and features French doors to the garden, as well as custom fitted wardrobes that create storage space. Another bedroom presents a more playful design, centred around a built-in daybed in an alcove with cabinets. A dressing table is placed between the windows, and the painted ceiling adds colour and depth.
Facilities and Outdoor Areas
The main building is completed by a sound studio, which Cody Ko frequently used for his podcasts and YouTube productions. The main recording area is beneath exposed beams, with acoustic panels on the walls. It features several workstations, monitors, microphones, and a large television. A distinctive area of the studio with cork walls and a neon raspberry light installation often served as a backdrop for Ko's recordings.
Away from the main house, the repurposed barn has been transformed into a comprehensive entertainment area. The main level is arranged around a billiards table, complemented by several seating areas, including a large green sofa and a corner bar. At the front of the barn, large sliding doors open onto a long balcony offering views over the treetops. On the other side, a kitchen is integrated directly into the open entertainment area, with bar stools along a large island. Rustic cabinets, open shelving, a professional cooker, and patterned tiles complete the fittings. Upstairs, the barn’s loft has been converted into a bedroom under the eaves. Exposed beams and wood continue throughout, while a series of smaller windows allow views of the treetops above the bed.
Another freestanding building on the property has been converted into a gym with large glass panels. On a terrace directly in front of the gym, there is a wellness area with a barrel sauna, a cold plunge pool, and a hot tub. Inside the gym, cardio equipment, free weights, strength training machines, and open spaces for stretching or floor exercises are available. Beyond the main house and outbuildings, the rest of the estate offers diverse outdoor areas for entertainment and recreation. Near the barn, a small, wooden-framed chicken coop stands beneath the trees. Further across the lawn, a play area with horseshoes and a bocce court extends.
