DAHLER, an estate agency specialising in the premium segment, has reorganised the leadership of its Cologne branch. Since 1 November 2026, Antonio Glavas has been responsible for the location as Managing Director. Glavas takes on the responsibility in a dual role, as he already heads the company's Düsseldorf branch.
Glavas brings many years of experience in the property sector to the expanded role. Between 2010 and 2017, he operated as an independent estate agent focusing on letting residential and commercial properties. He then moved to Von Poll Immobilien, where he managed the shop in Meerbusch as an independent real estate professional. In spring 2022, he joined DAHLER Düsseldorf, initially serving as branch manager and authorised signatory. In February 2026, he finally took over executive management there.
Differentiated market developments across Cologne
Looking ahead to his future responsibilities in Cologne, Glavas pointed to the heterogeneous nature of the local market. Residential areas such as Lindenthal, Rodenkirchen, and the inner-city segment were characterised by very distinct property structures and buyer profiles. Consequently, supply, demand, and price structures developed unevenly across the individual submarkets.
For marketing, he noted, it was essential to identify these trends precisely and take into account the individual characteristics of each property. The objective is to further develop the Cologne location alongside the existing team and to expand the firm's market position in the upmarket segment.
Strategic link between two Rhineland locations
Björn Dahler, founder and Managing Director of DAHLER, cited several years of collaboration as the rationale behind the personnel decision. He stated that Glavas knows the company thoroughly and combines in-depth market knowledge with entrepreneurial thinking as well as a precise understanding of client needs. The company is relying on him to apply his expertise in Cologne alongside Düsseldorf.
At the same time, the company leadership emphasised the importance of appreciating the specific profiles of the two neighbouring major cities separately. The appointment serves to strengthen the local presence in both Rhineland markets in a targeted manner and to accompany their independent dynamics appropriately.
