The inner-city quarter “Gerling Garden” in Cologne is receiving financing from Deutsche Hypo – NORD/LB Real Estate Finance. The beneficiary of the financing is the open-ended real estate fund Deka-ImmobilienEuropa. The property, strategically located in the Gereonsviertel of Cologne's Old Town North, on the northwestern edge of the city's Central Business District, is characterised by its mixed use and its micro-local significance.
The “Gerling Garden” ensemble comprises a total usable area of approximately 29,700 square metres. It combines various real estate segments and has undergone extensive revitalisation and expansion in recent years. The original buildings were constructed in the 1950s and 1960s, followed by a profound modernisation that meets current usage requirements.

The quarter's composition includes high-quality office spaces, a hotel, and complementary infrastructural amenities. This mixture contributes to the attractiveness and functionality of the location.
