Distart Education GmbH has secured its future company headquarters through the acquisition of an office property in Leipzig. The transaction, covering an area of approximately 2,600 square metres, was completed on Große Fleischergasse in the city centre. The transfer of ownership for the five-storey property is scheduled for 30 June 2026. The acquisition process was supported and organised by BNP Paribas Real Estate.

This acquisition underscores Distart Education's strategy to foster its long-term growth and solidify its ties to Leipzig. The property, which spans five floors, will serve as the central headquarters for the entire Distart Group. This investment enables the educational company to create the spatial conditions for further growth and to intensify the integration of educational offerings with corporate practice under one roof.

Strategic investment in the location

For Thomy Roecklin, the company's founder and managing director, the acquisition represents more than a mere property purchase. It reflects Distart Education's corporate culture. Mr Roecklin stated that the company believes effective education emerges where people collaborate. For this reason, a work environment is consciously being created that fosters creativity, exchange, and cooperation. By owning its own property, the company is making a long-term investment in its workforce, corporate culture, and Leipzig as an educational hub.

Since its founding, the Distart Group has maintained its headquarters in Leipzig. The current property acquisition reaffirms this long-term commitment to the regional location. The decision to acquire its own property, rather than using rented spaces, signals a firm establishment and gives the company the opportunity to align the design of its work environment entirely with its own needs. Confidentiality was agreed upon regarding the purchase price.
