US television presenter Dr Phil McGraw and his wife Robin have put their Beverly Hills estate up for sale for 67.5 million dollars. The asking price is more than double the 29.8 million dollars the couple paid in 2010 for the property in the exclusive Lower Benedict Canyon neighbourhood. After more than 15 years in the family's ownership, the estate spanning over 16,000 square feet is now ready for a change of hands.
The Mediterranean Revival-style villa was designed by architect Kevin Clark and completed in 2011 following a seven-year construction phase. The estate extends across grounds of approximately 2.76 acres and offers sweeping views of the Los Angeles skyline. The exterior facade is defined by solid stone columns, decorative quoins and rounded arches, lending the residence a classical appearance.
Features and grounds
Inside, the main building comprises 16,079 square feet of living space with eight bedrooms and 13 bathrooms. A two-storey foyer leads into formal living areas appointed with coffered ceilings, imported natural stone fireplaces and arched French windows. The kitchen is equipped with built-in appliances from Wolf and Miele as well as a separate pantry connecting to an informal dining area. The private wing accommodates an expansive primary suite with its own lounge area, two separate bathrooms and generous dressing rooms.

The grounds feature manicured gardens, extensive lawn areas and several terraces for entertaining. Alongside a swimming pool with panoramic views across the city, the property includes a tournament-grade clay tennis court and an adjoining pavilion. A detached guest house and separate staff quarters are available on site for visitors and domestic staff.
Relocation and business context
Dr Phil and Robin McGraw have gradually shifted the centre of their lives in recent years. The couple acquired an estate in Dallas as early as 2020 and have since spent the majority of their time in the state of Texas. The property there was comprehensively remodelled by Robin McGraw according to her own vision.
The decision to sell also coincides with a period of business upheaval. Following the conclusion of his daily talk show in 2023, McGraw founded the media network Merit Street Media. The company ran into severe financial difficulties, culminating in insolvency proceedings and a court-ordered liquidation to satisfy creditor claims, against which appeals have been lodged. A direct connection between the commercial challenges and the sale of the property has not been confirmed. However, the market listing marks the end of long-standing homeownership in California.
