Former NBA All-Star Dwight Howard has again put his 14-acre Georgia estate, one of the state's largest private properties, up for sale. The current asking price is US$14.5 million. This represents a US$3.25 million increase from the last listing a year ago, when Howard struggled to find a buyer for US$11.25 million. Howard acquired the property in 2016 for US$8.8 million, the same year he signed with the Atlanta Hawks, his home team.

Howard's custom-built estate spans 26,233 square feet of living space across three levels and is located behind two guarded entrances. The ground floor is designed around a generous, two-storey main room that opens onto various entertaining and dining areas. These are framed by extensive wood panelling and bespoke lighting. The main kitchen, one of six full kitchens in the main house, is equipped with Sub-Zero and Viking appliances and features a large scullery and a walk-in pantry with remote-controlled shelving systems.
Also on the first floor is the master suite with a fireplace, a covered balcony, and two bathrooms and dressing rooms. Further bedroom suites are located on the upper floors and are accessible via a lift. The property also offers a variety of amenities on the terrace level, including a state-of-the-art home cinema, a games room, a second full kitchen, and a hairdressing area. Other outstanding features include a temperature-controlled garage for over 10 vehicles, a fully equipped gym, and a room dedicated to Howard's collection of exotic snakes.

After months of unsuccessfully searching for a suitable buyer and announcing his retirement from the sport, he withdrew the property from the market and kept it for the time being.
Now that Howard is active again and has signed with Black Fortress Tbilisi, a top team in Georgia, he is once again preparing for a life overseas. This renewed listing for US$14.5 million offers him another opportunity to finally part with the estate and hand it over to a buyer willing to make the property their own refuge.
