The Management Board of ENERPARC AG filed for the opening of insolvency proceedings with the Hamburg Local Court on 7 September 2026. The court subsequently appointed lawyer Stefan Denkhaus, a partner at the commercial law firm BRL based in Hamburg, as provisional insolvency administrator. Mr Denkhaus has been tasked with stabilising the business operations and associated group companies.

Mr Denkhaus has already informed the employees on site about the provisional proceedings. He is in discussions with the Management Board, business consultants and financiers to ensure the necessary stabilisation. The possibility of further insolvency applications by sister companies is being examined, but a final assessment is not yet possible at this time.

Company Background

With its headquarters in Hamburg and approximately 380 employees at its corporate centre, ENERPARC AG is an established player in the renewable energy sector. Over a period of 18 years, the entire downstream value chain has been built up within the group of companies.
