The Excelsior Hotel Nuremberg Fürth, now belonging to the Radisson Individuals brand, has celebrated its re-opening and presented its strategic reorientation and development under the leadership of the GCH Hotel Group. This event aimed to showcase the potential of the establishment to representatives from politics, business, tourism, and culture.
Three months after the GCH Hotel Group took over management, initial successes in operations are evident. Guest satisfaction, measured by a points system, increased from 8.3 to 8.6 out of 10 points. This value surpasses the competitive average in June, which stood at 7.9 points. This development results from an investment strategy in service quality, hospitality, and contemporary hotel amenities.
Sascha Hampe, CEO of the GCH Hotel Group, stated that the original goal was to restore the hotel's former significance and create a place of connection for international guests and local stakeholders. The results observed confirm that this approach is well-received by guests.
Architecture and Interior Concept
The Excelsior Hotel has been reoriented both architecturally and conceptually. Its characteristic pyramid architecture is complemented by a contemporary interior concept. This integrates high-quality cuisine and the standards of Radisson Individuals. The hotel aims to be more than just an accommodation option; it sees itself as a meeting point for business travellers, international visitors, and those interested in culture within the metropolitan region.
- —The hotel's public areas function as an open gallery, combining hospitality with contemporary art.
- —In cooperation with artists such as ANEL, Johannes Lenzgeiger, and Julia E. Wagner, rotating exhibitions are displayed.
- —The hotel serves as a platform for regional and supra-regional artists and promotes cultural diversity.
- —An atmosphere is created that invites guests to linger, discover, and engage in dialogue.
The reorientation not only marks the operational restart under the GCH Hotel Group and the Radisson Individuals brand but also signifies the beginning of a long-term development. The Excelsior aims to generate momentum for tourism, business, and culture in cooperation with regional partners and establish itself as a permanent fixture in the metropolitan region. Through its architecture, international aspirations, and commitment to quality, hospitality, and cultural identity, the Excelsior Hotel Nuremberg Fürth seeks to position itself as a property that garners attention beyond the borders of Franconia. It is regarded as a newly established landmark of regional hospitality, a place of encounter and inspiration, and an indicator of the attractiveness and future viability of the Nuremberg metropolitan region.
