Fakir Hausgeräte has transferred its German head office from Vaihingen/Enz to Stuttgart. The company has moved into office space in Valley One24, a prominent building opposite Stuttgart’s Gaskessel. This property forms the entrance to the newly developed Gaisburg commercial area, a former freight yard and abattoir site that has evolved into an innovative industrial location.
The relocation was prompted by infrastructural improvements, transport links, and the increased attractiveness of Stuttgart, the state capital. According to Scott Taylor, Managing Director of Fakir GmbH, not only the EU business but also the North American business will be managed from Stuttgart. He emphasised that this growth requires access to junior staff, who are more readily available in Stuttgart with its universities and innovative companies.
New Location and Office Space
Fakir Hausgeräte GmbH occupies an area of 415 square metres in Valley One24. These modern office spaces are intended to offer an attractive working environment while also creating the conditions for further company growth. The office building features a green inner courtyard and roof gardens, providing a high quality of outdoor space. Inside, high-quality materials, large glass surfaces and elaborately designed wall claddings ensure a pleasant working atmosphere.
Mr Taylor noted that the company wanted to offer its employees a high-quality environment in a central location. The conditions of the property, such as accommodating all departments on one level, sufficient parking spaces and a light-filled ambience, thus matched the brand strategy, which is described as bright, friendly, dynamic, modern and innovation-promoting.
Sale of Former Headquarters
With the move, Fakir Hausgeräte's presence at the Vaihingen/Enz site, where the company had been located from the mid-1970s until 2026, has ended. The industrial area there, which remains owned by Fakir Holding, comprises approximately 10,000 square metres of commercial space. These areas are to be sold to investors, real estate entrepreneurs, and project developers in the coming months. Production and manufacturing, which were previously located in Vaihingen/Enz, were consolidated several years ago in Turkey, the seat of the international Fakir Holding. The premises in Vaihingen/Enz have been cleared and prepared for sale in recent months.
Fakir Hausgeräte GmbH looks back on a history spanning more than 90 years and is one of the leading providers of household appliances in Germany. After its founding in Mühlacker, the company moved to Vaihingen/Enz in the mid-1970s. Under the leadership of Managing Director Scott Taylor, the company is on a growth trajectory following its relocation to Stuttgart and intends to further develop national and international markets with its brand promise of combining tradition and innovation.
