On 19th September 2026, the fitness company FitX opened its first studio in Leverkusen, in the Wiesdorf district. The new location is integrated into the revitalised CORNER82 building at Wiesdorfer Platz 82 and represents an investment of approximately EUR 2.5 million by FitX. This opening marks the 114th FitX location nationwide and the first in Leverkusen.
The studio spans an area of approximately 2,500 square metres and offers a modern spatial concept with the latest generation of equipment. Leverkusener Immobiliengesellschaft mbH (LEVI) acts as the landlord of the property. The location is characterised by its central position in the Wiesdorf pedestrian zone and is well-connected in terms of transport. The “Die Luminaden” stop is served by bus lines 203, 208, and 211, and “Leverkusen Mitte” railway station is within walking distance. An underground car park is available under the building for private car users.
Comprehensive Training Offer
The concept of the new studio is based on the FitX standard, which includes seven specific training areas. These include the BASICS area for strength training, a free weights area of over 500 square metres, a “Turnecke” (gymnastics corner) for functional training, a cardio area, and an equipment area with individually adjustable training options. Additionally, the studio offers a Lady Gym, an exclusive area for women, and a course room where 37 live courses take place weekly.
The equipment in the training areas is designed to meet individual training needs. FitX trainers are available to provide support during training and to create free training plans. For members’ refreshment, the X-Lounge with an X-Bar offering free drinks is centrally located in the studio.
Standardised Services
FitX pursues a transparent service model. Membership includes 24-hour opening times, individual training support, access to courses, and use of the seven training areas. Drinks, showers, and parking are included in the monthly fee of EUR 29. The one-off registration fee is also EUR 29. With the membership wristband, training is possible at all over 110 FitX studios in Germany.
