Flower Infrastructure Technologies AB has acquired a portfolio of seven Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects in Germany. The global law firm DLA Piper advised on this transaction, which was signed on 30 June 2026. The acquired portfolio has a grid capacity of 112 MW and represents an expansion of Flower's BESS holdings. The seller of the project portfolio and the associated project rights is the project developer Chint Solar.
Under the agreement, Chint Solar will construct the projects under an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract. Upon completion, Chint Solar will provide further services for the projects under Operations and Maintenance Services (O&M) contracts. Flower will own, operate, finance, and manage the projects after construction, underscoring the company's strategic focus on creating and managing energy infrastructure.
