GSG Berlin has successfully completed a letting in the Prinzessinnen-Höfe in Berlin-Kreuzberg. More than 600 square metres of office space were handed over to lemon.markets GmbH. The company, which specialises in the development of digital infrastructure for securities trading, took occupation of the premises in the commercial courtyard complex at Prinzessinnenstraße 19/20 at the end of May 2026.
lemon.markets is a provider of a 'Brokerage-as-a-Service' platform that offers banks, asset managers, and other financial technology companies digital access to capital markets. The cloud-based solution provided supports companies in establishing efficient securities offerings and providing digital investment products for their customers. Since 2025, lemon.markets has been part of the dwpbank Group, but continues to operate independently in the market.
Max Linden, CEO of lemon.markets GmbH, emphasised the importance of a working environment that enables concentrated work, exchange among employees, and further growth. He highlighted that the Prinzessinnen-Höfe offer an advantageous combination of a central location, modern office spaces, and a vibrant Kreuzberg environment.
The Prinzessinnen-Höfe are located in the immediate vicinity of Moritzplatz and are among GSG Berlin's inner-city commercial locations in Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg. Historically, the area on Prinzessinnenstraße was originally designed as a residential and commercial courtyard. After extensive destruction in the Second World War, parts of the ensemble were rebuilt and structurally complemented. In the course of comprehensive further development, existing buildings were modernised and a six-storey new building was erected. The current site comprises approximately 8,600 square metres of commercial space.
Sebastian Blecke, COO of GSG Berlin, interpreted the letting to lemon.markets as proof that the commercial courtyards in Kreuzberg are also attractive for technology-driven companies from demanding and regulated industries. He noted that such users specifically look for locations that are functional, have good transport links, and are integrated into an established urban environment. This combination is well provided at locations such as the Prinzessinnen-Höfe.
