A major lease agreement has been recorded in the industrial and logistics market in Haan, North Rhine-Westphalia. As part of its ongoing expansion, a Chinese logistics company has leased a property with a total usable area of 7,770 square metres. The brokerage mandate was handled by property agency RUHR REAL. The investment firm HighBrook is the owner of the property.
Usage profile and property features on Siemensstraße
The new occupier will primarily use the leased space at Siemensstraße 7 to handle growing e-commerce activities. The service provider's portfolio covers both the handling of its own product ranges and logistics processing for major retail platforms such as Amazon. The letting serves to expand existing physical capacity to cope with increasing shipment and handling volumes.
Decisive for the location choice, alongside transport links, was the functional condition of the property. The building features numerous loading bays for rapid goods transhipment as well as an existing racking system that could be integrated precisely into the tenant's operational processes.
Handover of the space and brokerage background
The handover and occupation of the 7,770-square-metre warehouse space took place on schedule on 1 October. For the company, the property provides the operational foundation to establish its logistics value chain in the region on a lasting basis.
Joel Gonzalez Losa, the consultant responsible at RUHR REAL, highlighted the importance of an exact alignment between location quality, physical specifications and the occupier's specific operational requirements with regard to the conclusion of the deal. He noted that the property on Siemensstraße met these criteria and provides the tenant with a solid base for its continued expansion course.
