In the North Rhine-Westphalian town of Haan, a Chinese logistics company has moved into a new location. As part of its ongoing expansion, the company leased a commercial property with a total floor area of 7,770 square metres at Siemensstraße 7. Brokerage firm RUHR REAL advised on the lease transaction. HighBrook is the owner of the property.
The newly leased capacity will be used to handle the service provider's e-commerce operations. The company's logistics profile encompasses both the handling of its own product lines and activities directly connected to major retail platforms such as Amazon. The move into the warehouse space took place on 1 October.
Functional features for e-commerce processes
Decisive for the tenant's commitment was the combination of location qualities and the existing warehouse infrastructure. The property on Siemensstraße is designed for continuous goods throughput and is characterised by functional features that support day-to-day operations.
- —Numerous loading docks for the efficient loading and unloading of transport vehicles
- —An already integrated racking system for immediate use in storage processes
- —A total lettable area of 7,770 square metres for growing logistics capacity
In particular, the existing racking system offered operational advantages to the new tenant, eliminating the need for costly retrofits and allowing the space to be integrated directly into supply chains. In addition, the number of existing loading docks enables rapid cycle times for incoming and outgoing goods.
Precise match between location and operational requirements
Joel Gonzalez Losa, the responsible consultant at RUHR REAL, also emphasised the importance of accurately matched logistics properties. When selecting a site, it is essential that location criteria, equipment quality and specific operational requirements align precisely. The property in Haan meets these exact conditions and provides the logistics company with a reliable foundation for its future growth.
