The heylo office building in Düsseldorf has signed five new lease agreements for a total area of approximately 5,900 m² of office space. These agreements confirm heylo's position as a sustainable and future-oriented office campus in the state capital of North Rhine-Westphalia. The announcement was made during a visit by Dr. Stephan Keller, Lord Mayor of the State Capital Düsseldorf, who was informed on-site about the modernisation of the property and its significance for the development of the location.
Lord Mayor Dr. Keller emphasised that Düsseldorf is a strong and future-oriented business location at the heart of Europe. The establishment of internationally active companies underscores the city's attractiveness and its relevance as a financial centre. At the same time, heylo demonstrates how modern working environments can be created through the revitalisation of existing buildings and how economic development can be combined with a responsible approach to the existing building stock.
Among the new tenants is INKA Internationale Kapitalanlagegesellschaft mbH, which ranks among the leading master KVGs in Germany with managed fund assets of over EUR 470 billion. Dr. Tim Günter, a member of INKA's management board, explained that the step towards independence under BlackFin Capital Partners as the new owner not only marks a new brand identity but also a new address. heylo aligns with the company's philosophy: a modern, future-oriented environment built on a strong and proven foundation.
Diverse tenant structure and space utilisation
In addition to INKA, TED GmbH Steuerberatungsgesellschaft and tradeo legal GmbH & Co. KG have also chosen heylo. Both companies will jointly occupy approximately 870 m² of office space, with occupancy planned for the second half of 2027. Furthermore, Ostertag DeTeWe and Koddi GmbH have signed leases for the revitalised office property on Düsseldorf's Kennedydamm. Ostertag DeTeWe leased approximately 1,061 m² of office space, while Koddi GmbH occupied an additional 980 m².

Focus on sustainability and location quality
heylo demonstrates how location quality, sustainability, and preservation of existing buildings can be effectively combined. The comprehensive modernisation provides contemporary office spaces tailored to the requirements of modern users while enabling a responsible approach to urban resources. The project underscores the importance of revitalising existing properties for the long-term development of the Düsseldorf office market.
Johannes Boventer, Head of Germany & Austria at PIMCO Prime Real Estate, commented on the successful lettings as an important milestone for heylo. The continued interest from companies across various sectors highlights the quality of the building concept and confirms the strategy of creating a future-oriented and sustainable working environment that meets the changing demands of modern office users. With a current occupancy rate of 55%, selected spaces remain available to meet the demand of forward-thinking tenants.
