The inaugural NEW bauhaus VISIONALE last year received extraordinarily positive feedback from architecture, urban planning, construction and real estate, the creative industries, science, and politics, confirming the relevance of the topic.
Federal Minister of Construction Hubertz justifies her patronage with the impetus provided by the festival. She emphasises Thuringia's strength as a hub for innovation, science, and communication. This year, too, the festival presents a diverse programme that offers new dialogue platforms and an appealing festival atmosphere for interdisciplinary exchange and networking. The aim is to promote the housing, urban development, and construction transformation. The Federal Minister announced intensive professional support for the event from her ministry. State Secretary Dr. Olaf Joachim will represent her at the opening. For the first time, all three specialist departments of the Federal Ministry – Housing, Urban Development, and Building – are actively participating in knowledge transfer during the festival.
