Jagdfeld Real Estate has reported full occupancy at the long-established Berlin shopping centre Forum Steglitz. Following the recent contract signed with optician Mister Spex, the final remaining rental unit in the commercial property has been successfully let. The retail business has opted for ground-floor space on a long-term basis and plans to open its store in early 2027.
Alongside the optician, two further newcomers will complement the centre's tenant mix. The Berlin butcher Fleischerei Mago is scheduled to move in as early as this coming autumn. The family-run artisan business, which operates more than 20 branches, will offer meat and charcuterie products on the ground floor and has likewise committed to the location on a long-term lease.
Strengthening local amenities and service provision
The range of services is also being expanded by Washbear. The concept brings together shoe repairs, key cutting, tailoring alterations and dry cleaning under one roof. The unit in the basement of the shopping centre is also expected to open in the autumn of this year. In this instance, too, a long-term lease term was agreed.

Full occupancy as a milestone in the retail sector
Marius Lorenz, Head of Leasing at Jagdfeld Real Estate, emphasises the particular significance of this leasing success in the current market environment. In times of a demanding retail market, achieving full occupancy in a large centre is a distinct rarity. He added that it is particularly satisfying to complete the scheme with partners who purposefully broaden the sector mix and commit long term to this traditional location in south-west Berlin.
Through these latest deals, Forum Steglitz consolidates its role as an established local supply and retail hub, underpinned by a blend of national brands, regional trades and practical everyday services.
