Julie Wainwright, founder and former CEO of online luxury consignment company The RealReal, has put her Manhattan condominium on the market for USD 7.9 million after six years of ownership. Wainwright, who founded The RealReal in 2011, acquired the three-bedroom residence for USD 6.75 million in 2020, following the company's IPO. She subsequently commissioned designer Martin Kobus to custom design the interiors.

The 3,282 square foot flat, located on the 34th floor of the historic Woolworth Building, combines modern design with views of some of New York City's most iconic landmarks. Property highlights include the USD 7.9 million price, its Manhattan, New York location, a size of 3,282 square feet, three bedrooms, and 3.5 bathrooms.

Special features of the flat include expansive views of the Empire State Building, the Brooklyn Bridge, and New York Harbor, ceiling heights exceeding 10 feet, and herringbone oak flooring. The great room, over 35 feet wide, also houses a wet bar. The bathrooms are equipped with steam showers and heated marble floors.

The corner great room, stretching more than 35 feet, extends under ceilings exceeding 10 feet and is characterised by continuous solid herringbone oak flooring. Five oversized windows frame the city views, while the open-plan layout separates a main living area from a dining area. In between is a built-in wet bar with hand-painted églomisé mirror panels. From the living area, there are north-facing views of the Empire State Building, east-facing views of the Brooklyn Bridge, and south-facing views over New York Harbor.

The great room flows directly into the kitchen, where the oak flooring continues under a long central island featuring Calacatta Calida marble, bespoke Molteni cabinetry, and Miele appliances. A sink with Dornbracht fittings is situated by the window, while the hob is located opposite. One of the ancillary bedrooms has been converted into a media room, adorned with bespoke de Gournay wallpaper in a layered gold and brown pattern.

The main suite features a bed oriented towards two oversized windows framed by pink curtains. The walls are painted in a delicate pink with white sketches, and a sculptural chandelier hangs above the bed. The suite also includes a walk-in wardrobe and dressing room with windows. The en-suite bathroom is fitted with heated marble floors and walls, the stone extending throughout the room to the steam shower. A freestanding bathtub is positioned under the window, while the long double vanity is located on the opposite wall beneath a wide mirror. The third bedroom faces south, offering ample natural light through two large windows.

The buyer will also gain access to the private amenities of the Woolworth Tower. These include a swimming pool, a gymnasium, a residents' lounge, a wine cellar with a tasting room, secure parking, and a private residents' lobby. The bespoke interiors, extensive city views, and building amenities make this residence a special offering, reflecting Julie Wainwright's appreciation for luxury.
