The KARL-Gruppe, as owner and developer of K.PARK Hengersberg, has concluded a long-term lease agreement for the catering and event areas of the location. The contracting party is Kulturfutter GmbH, which will take over the approximately 800 square metres of canteen, kitchen, and event spaces at the site. The term of the lease agreement has been set for ten years, thereby ensuring a stable and permanent provision of services for the users of K.PARK Hengersberg.
Behind Kulturfutter GmbH is the Großschädl family, known in the region for various catering establishments. These include commitments at Golfclub Rusel, in the Knights Sportsbar, at Dant! in Deggendorf, and at Restaurant Gotthard in Hengersberg. This regional rootedness and proven experience in gastronomy are crucial factors for the selection of the operator. The focus is on high-quality standards, which should manifest itself in the operation of the canteen and the high-quality event spaces.
The relevant spaces in K.PARK Hengersberg are equipped with a modern, high-quality industrial kitchen. These are complemented by generous dining areas, lounge areas, and an outdoor seating area with shading. The infrastructure is designed to provide up to 500 people with fresh lunch daily, which underscores the capacity and efficiency of the new catering offering. This creates an attractive culinary offering at K.PARK Hengersberg, aimed at tenants, employees, resident companies, and visitors.
Beyond daily lunch service, the canteen is intended to offer a broader service. It is planned to open in the morning for smaller meals and in the afternoon for coffee and cake. This transforms the catering area from a mere company canteen into a central service and meeting point within K.PARK Hengersberg. The extension of operating hours enhances the attractiveness of the location as a whole and creates additional usage possibilities.
Significant added value is also created for external companies from Hengersberg and the surrounding region. The catering offer is not exclusively intended for the tenants of K.PARK Hengersberg. Other businesses from the region can in future obtain lunch for their employees or use the premises for various corporate purposes. These include company events, training courses, meetings, or special occasions, whereby the spaces take on a multifunctional role in the regional context.
