Klüh Catering, a subsidiary of the multiservice provider Klüh, has taken over the gastronomic provision on the EUREF Campus Berlin. As part of this takeover, all employees from the F&B division of EUREF-Event GmbH were retained. The EUREF Campus is considered a significant innovation hub in the areas of energy, mobility and sustainability, for which Klüh Catering has developed a differentiated gastronomic concept. This concept includes offerings from breakfast and brunch to modern lunch concepts and high-quality restaurant services.

Thorsten Greth, Managing Director of Klüh Catering, stated that his company took over gastronomic responsibility on the EUREF Campus Berlin with the aim of implementing a diverse culinary offering. He emphasised that this offering should combine enjoyment, sustainability and digital services, adequately supporting the specific character of the campus. The expansion of Klüh's involvement on the EUREF Campus is significant, as the company has already been responsible for security services on this Berlin site since September 2023. Furthermore, Klüh is active on the EUREF Campus Düsseldorf as a partner for catering, security and cleaning, which underscores the company's strategic alignment with these future-oriented locations.

Four catering concepts for diverse requirements

Klüh Catering's gastronomic portfolio on the EUREF Campus Berlin is divided into four specific concepts tailored to the heterogeneous needs of a modern campus. This campus is a centre for innovation, new working environments and exchange between companies, start-ups, science and politics. The restaurant 'We love green' focuses on fresh ingredients and balanced enjoyment. It offers vegetarian and vegan options, from individually configurable bowls and live-cooking dishes to freshly squeezed juices and healthy snacks. The 'Café im Wasserturm' serves as a meeting point with breakfast and brunch offerings, as well as a variety of lunch dishes and coffee specialities. Additionally, the 'Werkstatt Bistro' and 'The CORD' restaurant are available.

The 'Werkstatt Bistro' combines classic dishes with modern interpretations, street food concepts and themed weeks. Fresh dishes from the live-cooking station, as well as snacks to take away, complement the offering. 'The CORD' offers a high-quality restaurant concept with seasonal, regional cuisine and personalised service. The menu, which is inspired by European cuisines, includes a selection of meat, fish, vegetarian and vegan dishes.

Digital integration and sustainability strategies

A key component of the concept is the Klüh Catering app. It allows guests to access menus, visual information, nutritional data, allergen information and sustainability metrics for the dishes offered. In the future, the app will also support digital payment via a personal QR code. Klüh Catering employs further digital solutions to make operational processes more efficient and transparent, including AI-supported till systems as well as digital applications for inventory management, quality assurance and food safety.

Sustainability forms an integral part of the company philosophy. Digital solutions are used to make the ecological footprint of the food transparent. AI-supported waste management analyses food waste to continuously optimise processes for waste reduction. The concept is complemented by an on-campus farming offering that enables the cultivation of herbs, microgreens and other plants. This farming offering also serves for sustainability communication and nutritional education, underscoring Klüh Catering's comprehensive and future-oriented approach on the EUREF Campus Berlin.
