French cosmetics brand L'Occitane is continuing its high street retail expansion by leasing a shop unit at Ludwigsplatz 7 in Nuremberg. The property is situated in an established location in Nuremberg city centre. Prior to the change of tenant, the retail space in question was occupied by clothing retailer Calzedonia.
Brokered and advised by Lührmann
Retail consultancy Lührmann advised L'Occitane on the lease. The deal was brokered by Nadine Brand, who works as Senior Consultant Retail Letting at Lührmann's Munich office.
In connection with the successful conclusion of the agreement, Nadine Brand stated that L'Occitane had secured an attractive retail space in a central Nuremberg city centre location with the Ludwigsplatz property. The transaction confirms the importance of established shopping destinations in the urban core.

With this focus, the business has grown steadily into a global chain retailer. Today, L'Occitane is present with more than 3,000 boutiques in over 90 countries. The future store on Ludwigsplatz expands the company's worldwide network by adding another location in Nuremberg.
