At Art-Invest Real Estate Funds, the capital management company of the Art-Invest Real Estate Group regulated by BaFin, a change in management is taking place at the turn of the month. Philipp Henkels, who served as Managing Director since the company's founding in 2011, will step down from his position on 30 June 2026. This change marks a significant point in the operational leadership of the company.
Eren Kahraman has been appointed to the management board by the Supervisory Board of Art-Invest Real Estate Funds, effective from 1 July, as his successor. He will complement the existing committee, which comprises Jan Dührkoop and Jörg Hennebach. This internal succession signals continuity in corporate leadership and the further development of the group from within its own ranks.
Career Path and New Responsibilities
Eren Kahraman has been part of Art-Invest Real Estate Funds since its founding phase in 2011. In his career to date, he played a key role in the BaFin approval process for the launch and management of open-ended special real estate funds. In the future, Eren Kahraman will expand his duties. According to the business allocation plan, he will be responsible for Sustainability (ESG) and Human Resources, in addition to the Finance division. This expansion of his responsibilities reflects the increasing importance of these areas for institutional investment funds and underlines the strategic direction of Art-Invest Real Estate Funds.
