Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (URW), owner and operator of Minto in Mönchengladbach, is restructuring its centre management. From 1 July, Maria Marshall will take up the position of General Manager. She succeeds Andrea Eggers, who is leaving the company after many years of service. This new personnel appointment underscores the commitment to consolidate and expand Minto's position in retail, gastronomy and events in Mönchengladbach city centre.
Maria Marshall has worked for Minto in various roles for a decade and possesses in-depth knowledge of local conditions. Most recently, she was responsible as Senior Marketing Manager. Her previous work included supporting centre development, cultivating local networks, and conceiving and implementing numerous events and marketing campaigns. Her expertise in brand management, communication and centre positioning is now intended to contribute to the central development of the site.
Marshall stated that Mönchengladbach and Minto are particularly close to her heart. She intends, together with tenants, cooperation partners and customers, to continue the successful development and provide new impetus to establish the centre as a vibrant meeting point in the region. A key focus of her new role will be to intensify cooperation with the city, local institutions, associations, and resident brands and tenants.
Strategic Direction and Marketing Role
The strategic direction under Maria Marshall's leadership places an emphasis on firmly embedding the centre in Mönchengladbach, establishing stable partnerships, and continuous centre development that is oriented towards the needs of visitors and the local community. These approaches are intended to ensure that Minto can further expand its role as a central hub for the community.
In addition to this new appointment, Aline Berg will take on the position of Marketing Manager. Berg has been working at Minto for around one and a half years and brings comprehensive knowledge of internal processes, partner structures, and communication formats. In her new role, she will be responsible for Minto's marketing activities and will work on continuing existing formats and implementing new ones. The experience of both managers with the centre, its partners, and the local community should help achieve the stated goals.
