Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (URW) is expanding the sector and brand mix of Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartier. The Swiss company Lindt, a globally leading manufacturer of premium chocolate, will open one of its largest and most exclusive boutiques in Germany in this quarter. The planned boutique will be positioned on the ground floor in a prominent corner location on the central axis of the area.
With an area of 330 square metres, this Lindt boutique represents one of the company's largest retail outlets in Germany. The opening is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2026. The concept focuses on a comprehensive shopping experience and the presentation of Lindt's entire product range.
The new Lindt boutique in Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartier will include additional elements alongside the classic product assortment. A Maître Chocolatier Atelier will offer fresh chocolate and customisable bars. This will be complemented by a Chocolate & Coffee Bar, which will stock a selection of hot and cold coffee and chocolate creations, as well as Lindt's "Crema Gelata" ice cream.
The collaboration between Lindt and URW will be further intensified with this boutique. Successful Lindt stores already exist in other Westfield locations, including Westfield Centro in Oberhausen, Westfield Ruhr Park in Bochum, Westfield Chodov in Prague, Westfield Mokotów in Warsaw, and Westfield Stratford City in London.
Michael Spiller, CEO of Lindt & Sprüngli Germany, emphasised that this boutique makes the brand directly tangible and that every purchase represents an experience for all the senses. Katharina Zeiler, Director Leasing Austria & Germany at Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, expressed delight about the new highlight for the offering mix in the quarter and the expansion of the successful partnership with Lindt, highlighting in particular the unique experiential concept.
The Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartier, located directly on the Elbe River, is designed as a forward-looking urban quarter. It integrates international and local retail, gastronomy, and entertainment concepts with offices, apartments, hotels, and a cruise terminal. The complex forms the core of HafenCity, which is considered Europe's most ambitious urban regeneration project and is characterised by a vibrant and sustainable approach.
