Logicor has successfully and fully let two logistics properties in Nieder-Olm and Langenfeld. The transaction encompasses a total area of approximately 28,000 m², which has been handed over to an internationally operating transport and logistics company. With these contract signings, both properties are now fully occupied.
The property in Nieder-Olm, located at Am Giener 2, offers warehouse space of around 15,900 m². This is complemented by 1,200 m² of office space and approximately 400 m² of social areas. The location is distinguished by its strategic position in the Rhine-Main region. It is directly connected to the A63 and A60 motorways, ensuring rapid accessibility to the metropolitan areas of Mainz, Wiesbaden, and Frankfurt am Main.
The property in Langenfeld, at Poensgenstraße 25, comprises approximately 9,800 m² of warehouse space. Additionally, 600 m² of office space and 1,150 m² of mezzanine and social areas are available here. This property is a modern new build aiming for DGNB Gold certification, thus pursuing a comprehensive sustainability approach in its development.
Strategic importance of the locations
Janica Gerecke, Managing Director and Head of Germany at Logicor, stated that the simultaneous letting of both locations underscores the high demand for logistics spaces characterised by good connectivity and functionality in established markets. The agreements also demonstrate the attractiveness of the German market for globally active logistics companies. The locations in Nieder-Olm and Langenfeld offer an optimal basis for efficient operational processes and successful growth in Germany.
Langenfeld benefits from its geographical position between Düsseldorf and Cologne, as well as from favourable connections to the A1, A3, A46, and A59 motorways. This allows for efficient access to the entire Rhine-Ruhr region. Colliers provided advisory services for the letting of the properties, while ADVANT Beiten handled the legal support.
