Two new tenants have taken significant office space at 575 Madison Avenue in Midtown Manhattan, New York City. A Malaysian bank and a medical practice specialising in concierge services have jointly leased over 14,100 square feet, confirming the location's appeal for prime businesses.

Malayan Banking Berhad, known as Maybank, secured the larger of the two deals, with 8,629 square feet. The bank will occupy the entire 24th floor of the property from Steinberg & Pokoik Management, as announced by landlord broker CBRE. Maybank will relocate its New York offices from 400 Park Avenue, approximately three blocks away.

CBRE did not provide information on the asking rent. According to a report by Colliers, the average asking rent for office space in Midtown in the third quarter of 2026 was $85.08 per square foot.

Further Tenants in the Building

The second of the aforementioned leases was signed by Park 55 Medical Associates. Dr. Wendy Ziecheck and Dr. Christopher Barley will operate their medical practice there. Park 55 leased 5,474 square feet across parts of the 10th and 15th floors of the building.

Gregg Rothkin of CBRE, who negotiated on behalf of the landlord alongside David Hollander, Brad Auerbach, Maxwell Tarter, and William Hooks, commented on the location's appeal. He stated that 575 Madison Avenue attracts leading financial service providers and professional service firms seeking a prestigious address and exceptional building amenities. The recent transactions underscore the demand for high-quality office space in a prime Midtown location.

In addition to these deals, another concierge health clinic, whose name was not disclosed by CBRE, secured 14,211 square feet at 575 Madison Avenue. This highlights the diverse tenant demand for the property.

Significance for the Midtown Market

The recent lease agreements at 575 Madison Avenue illustrate the sustained demand for premium office space in Manhattan. Despite general market conditions, the appeal of properties in prime locations with first-class amenities persists. These transactions contribute to the vitality of the office market in Midtown and demonstrate the resilience of the high-quality property segment.
