Newmark is heading towards the most successful financial year in its corporate history. As the real estate services provider announced when presenting its latest quarterly figures, total revenues in the third quarter of 2026 rose by 12.7 per cent year-on-year to 973.2 million dollars. In the prior-year quarter, the company had generated revenues of 863.5 million dollars. Management expects total annual revenue of around two billion dollars by 2029.
Strong leasing business offsets decline in transactions
The Management Services business line accounted for the largest share of quarterly revenue at 376 million dollars. At the same time, total company expenses in the reporting period up to 30 September 2026 rose to 889.2 million dollars, compared with 820 million dollars in the prior-year quarter.
A key driver of growth was the leasing sector, where revenues climbed by 26.5 per cent year-on-year to 308.6 million dollars, up from 244 million dollars in the third quarter of 2025. This increase was largely attributable to noticeable demand from artificial intelligence operators, data centre providers and other technology sectors.

Interest rate environment dampens capital markets alongside impending leadership change
The capital markets segment was the only business area to record a decline in revenue, falling from 301.3 million dollars in the prior-year period to 288.2 million dollars. CEO Barry Gosin and other senior executives pointed to macroeconomic factors such as persistently high interest rates and increased capitalisation rates, which were currently deterring owners from bringing properties to market. Gosin explained, however, that capital markets remained an indispensable core component of the business model and expressed confidence regarding future prospects.
The report on recent business performance coincides with a period of strategic leadership changes. Gosin had announced in August that, after 47 years, he would transition from the role of CEO to Chairman of the operating company Newmark & Company Real Estate. The search for a successor is currently underway both internally and externally. Gosin expressed conviction that investments in resilient service areas and global expansion will safeguard the company's long-term growth trajectory.
