Agents increasingly adopt AI, brokerages show growing acceptance

Real estate leaders increasingly comfortable with AI, expect it to redefine operational efficiency by 2025.

R
eal estate leaders are increasingly embracing artificial intelligence, with nearly 9 in 10 brokerage leaders reporting that their agents use AI. This marks an 8% drop from last year's concerns, with only 42% of leaders expressing high concern about its adoption. Michael Minard, CEO of Delta Media Group, notes that AI is no longer a novelty but a vital tool for brokerages and agents alike.

The survey, conducted by Delta Media Group among over 100 top residential brokerage leaders, reveals that these industry leaders see 2025 as a pivotal year for AI. They expect it to move beyond marketing and content creation into customer service and administrative support, redefining operational efficiency in the process. For some brokerages, AI is already an integral part of their agent experience.

Key findings from the survey include:

    * Agents of all ages are now using AI, with those who don't risk being left behind.

    * The most common use case for AI is creating property descriptions, but digital marketing, client communications, and data analysis are gaining traction.

    * Smaller brokerages (fewer than 20 agents and less than $50 million in transactions) are less likely to adopt AI due to resource constraints. Leaders of these firms also express more concern about the risks associated with AI adoption.
