Barron Trump, the 18-year-old son of President Donald Trump, had planned to launch a real-estate firm with friends from his prep school and an Idaho developer. The company, Trump, Fulcher & Roxburgh Capital, Inc., filed papers to incorporate in July but was dissolved shortly after the election. However, partner Cameron Roxburgh told Newsweek that they were planning to relaunch it this spring.
The proposed venture aimed to develop luxury properties and golf courses in Idaho, Arizona, and Utah, similar to the Trump Organization's global business model. Barron teamed up with Oxbridge Academy classmate Cameron Roxburgh and Carter Fulcher, a partner at the Fulcher Organization, a prominent real estate firm in Idaho.
Roxburgh told Newsweek that President Trump had offered advice but wasn't contributing financially. The plan was for the firm to be incorporated as a subsidiary of the Trump Organization at some point. Barron's involvement in his father's business is notable, as he allegedly helped with social media during the presidential election and suggested podcast appearances.
If Barron launches his own company, it would follow a different path from his siblings. Donald Jr., Ivanka, and Eric have all worked extensively in the Trump Organization, while Tiffany has supported her father's campaign efforts but hasn't been involved in the family business. Ivanka has been the most entrepreneurial, launching her own fashion and jewelry lines.
Papers to incorporate the company were filed in July with Mar-a-Lago listed as the principal business address, but it was dissolved shortly after the election allegedly to avoid media coverage. Roxburgh initially said they planned to relaunch this spring, but later told Fox Business that a relaunch wasn't happening. The fate of Barron's business dreams remains uncertain due to the political cycle and his duties as First Son.
