eveloper Al Adelson and the Morrison family's Sympatico Real Estate broke ground on their new West Palm Beach condo project, The Berkeley. A groundbreaking ceremony was held at the site, followed by a sales launch event at the development's sales gallery on the ninth floor of 500 South Australian Avenue. Guests were transported to the event in golf carts.
The 25-story, 193-unit tower will offer prices ranging from $2 million to $10 million for units with two to five bedrooms and square footage between 2,000 and 5,000 square feet. Amenities include a pool, spa, fitness facilities, teen room, club room, and private dining room. Arquitectonica is designing the tower, while John Moriarty & Associates of Boston is leading construction.
The project is expected to be completed in 2027 and will be situated across from Clear Lake, West Palm Beach's inland lake and primary water supply. The Berkeley marks Adelson's second condo project in West Palm Beach, following the successful Bristol development. The West Palm Beach condo market has seen significant growth since the pandemic, with over 6,600 residential units currently in development.
