n a strategic move to expand its presence in Eastern Kentucky, Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Central has merged with Redd, Brown & Williams Real Estate Services Inc., a local market leader since 1950. The combined entity will operate under the name Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Redd, Brown & Williams.
The partnership brings together two companies with deep roots in the region. Redd, Brown & Williams was founded by Ed Redd and Coke Williams in 1950, with Paul Brown joining as an owner in the late 1960s after Williams' retirement. The firm has since grown to include three generations of family members, including Paul David Brown and Jennifer Brown Day, who have been with the company for 45 and 20 years respectively.
Josh McGrath, CEO of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Central, said the partnership was a natural fit due to shared values and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to clients. "We're excited to collaborate with Redd, Brown & Williams and continue growing our team of agents," he added.
The merger will also bring together two companies with expertise in real estate appraisal services. Redd, Brown & Williams has over 300 years of combined appraisal experience on staff and will expand its services into the West Virginia market.
As part of the partnership, affiliated agents will gain access to a range of business-building resources through Be Better University, including professional development programs and sophisticated marketing assets. The company will also leverage the Distinctive Collection by Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate, an exclusive luxury marketing platform.
To celebrate the 75th anniversary of Redd, Brown & Williams Real Estate Services, the brokerage will host a special event on April 3 at the Mountain Arts Center in Prestonsburg, Kentucky. The event is open to the public and more information can be found by calling (606) 789-8119.
